RRB ALP, Technician 2018 Exam Pattern
Candidates who are going to attend the examination have to have a clear idea on the recruitment process. The examination is conducted in 3 phases where the first stage of CBT, Second Phase of CBT and Document Verification. As per the official notification, there will be no computer-based aptitude test for the post of technician under the Railway Recruitment 2018 Examination. The first phase of CBT will include the subjects like Mathematics, General intelligence, General science and General Awareness on Current Affairs. The total questions will be asked are 75 marks with a duration of 60 minutes. There is also a negative mark for the wrong answer.
The second stage of CBT include the subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness on Current Affairs with total marks of 100 and the duration of the examination is 90 minutes.
After successful completion of the two examinations, there will be a document verification of the process where the candidates have to submit all the important documents.

Candidates who are going to write the ALP need to get 42 marks in each phase to enter into the next level of examination. There is no relaxation as per the official notification. The ALP Merit List will be drawn from the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weight for the marks obtained in Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weight for the marks obtained in Computer-Based Aptitude Test.
